Math 6

This week we are still working on our new unit on computations with positive and negative numbers.  This week we will be exploring multiplication and division of positive and negative integers. There will be a quiz on this topic on Wednesday, 3/26. The remainder of the week will focus on inverse operations and solving 1 step equations.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are going to continue our work with the pythagoean theorem.  We will also learn how to apply this to 3D figures.  There will be a quiz on Thursday, 3/27. Next week we will begin exploring the midpoint formula.

Algebra

This week we are beginning our unit on radicals.  We will be exploring how to add, subtract, and multiply radicals.  We will also be exploring how to take non-perfect square radicals and write them in simpliest radical form.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.
