Math 6

This week we are continuing to practice how to evaluate expressions.  There will be a quiz on this topic on Tuesday, 3/12.  The rest of the week will focus on distrubuting, factoring, and combining like terms.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are finishing up with our unit on geometry.  The beginning of the week will focus on finishing up our city design projects on different angles.  We will then start reviewing for our 2D Geometry test, which will be on Thursday, 3/14.

Algebra

This week we are continuing with our unit on quadratics.  This week we will be learning how to use the discriminant and how to solve quadratics word problems.  We will also be reviewing for our quiz which will be on Thursday, 3/14.  The quiz will cover: finding the vertex, completing the square, vertex form, discriminant, and using the quadratic formula.
