Math 6

This week we starting a new chapter.  This week we will be exploring exponents and order of operations (PEMDAS).  There will be a quiz on these topics on Tuesday, 2/13.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are starting a new unit on geometry.  We will be covering translations, rotations and reflections this week.  At the end of the week, we will be working on a reflection project.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.

Algebra

This week we are  continuing with Polynomials.  We will be learning how to factor different types of polynomials.  The quiz on lessons 8.5 to 8.8 will be on Thursday, 2/8.  The unit test will be next week on Tuesday, 2/13.

Important Dates

Monday, 2/5:  Middle School Exercise Study continues.  Please remember to bring your gym uniforms and your charged fitbits if you are participating in the study.

Terra Nova Exams given 2/12 to 2/16.
