Math 6
This week we are finishing up our chapter on decimals. Students need to be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and apply them to word problems. The test will be on Wednesday, 11/17. Use the review sheet that is posted to help guide your studying.
Math 7
This week we will be reviewing percents. The test is on Tuesday, 11/16. Use the review sheet to help guide your studying. At the end of the week we will begin a new chapter which will focus on algebraic expressions and equations.
Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)
This week we are starting a new chapter on graphing linear equations. We will be learning how to graph linear equations using tables and x and y intercepts. There is a quiz on this on Friday, 11/19.
Algebra
We are starting a new chapter on solving systems of equations. This is chapter 6 in your textbook. This week we will be learning how to graph systems and solve them algebraically using substitution and elimination methods. There are not any tests or quizzes this week.
