Math 6

This week we will be having a quiz on multiplying and dividing fractions on Tuesday, 10/24.  The rest of the week will focus on a fraction recipe project and solving word problems.

Pre-Algebra

This week we will be reviewing how to solve 2 step equations.  The quiz on one and two step equations will be on Wednesday, 10/25.  After the quiz we will be focusing on multistep equations.

Algebra

Last week we learned different ways to graph a line.  We will explored the following methods:  using a table of values, x and y intercept, slope intercept form, and point slope form.  The quiz on the above mentioned topic will be on Wednesday, 10/25.  The rest of the week will focus on how to write an equation given two points, parallel and perpendicular lines and linear regression.

Important Dates

Middle School Field Trip:  Friday, 10/27.  Don’t forget to pack a lunch and you may dress down.  Wear comfortable sneakers or hiking boots that you are willing to wear outside.
