Math 6

This week we are focusing on adding and subtracting fractions.  There will be a quiz on Thursday, 10/21.  

Math 7

This week we are learning about unit rate, writing equations from proportial relationships and graphing them.  There is a quiz on Thursday, 10/21.

Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)

We are starting a new chapter on solving equations.  We will be solving 2 step, multi-step, and equations with variables on two sides.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.

Algebra

This week we are starting a new chapter that focuses on graphing linear equations.  The students will be learning different methods to do this, such as, using a table, x and y intercepts, and using slope intercept form. (y = mx + b)
