Math 6

This week we are continuing with our chapter on statistics.  On Wednesday, 1/19, we will be having a quiz on quartiles and box and whisker plots.  The rest of the week will focus on creating dot plots, frequency tables, and histrograms.

Math 7

This week we are continuing with our geometry unit.  On Wednesday, 1/19 there will be a quiz on circumference and area of circles, as well as how to find the perimeter and area of rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, and trapizoids.  The rest of the week will focus on finding area of composite figures.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are still working with systems of equations.  This week we will be learning how to solve word problems involving systems of equations.  There will be a quiz on solving systems using elimination and solving word problems on Friday, 1/21.  

Algebra

This week we are continuting with our unit on exponential equations.  This week we will be exploring geometric sequences.  There will be a quiz on linear vs exponential equations in tables and graphs and exponential growth and decay on Thursday, 1/20.
