Math 6

This week we are continuing with our chapter on statistics.  On Monday, we will have our quiz on measures of center, that was rescheudled due to the snow day.  After that we will be learning about quartiles and how to create a box and whisker plot.

Math 7

This week we are continuing with our geometry unit.  This week we will be learning about perimter and area.  Students will learn to find the circumference and area of circles, as well as how to find the perimeter and area of rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, and trapizoids.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are still working with systems of equations.  On Tuesday, 1/11 we will have a quiz on solving systems by graphing and using substitution.  The rest of the week will focus on solving systems of equations using elimination.

 

Algebra

We will begin our week with our quiz on exponent rules, that was rescheduled to Monday, due to the snow day.  The rest of this week we are learning about exponental equations.  We will learn how to find the growth rate and growth factor, as well as how to find exponental decay.

Reminders and Important Dates

If you are choosing to stay home due to the Covid surge, you may do so, but will have to remain remote through January 14th.  If you are remote due to a positive Covid test, you may return to school after your quarentine period of 10 days has ended.
