Math 6

This week we will be working on a new chapter that covers coordinate graphing.  Students will learn how to plot points and find the distance between points.  We will also be working on a graphing project in class.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.

Math 7

This week we are working on a scale drawing project.  At the end of the week we will be starting a new chapter on 3D figures.  The students will begin to learn about cross sections and surface area.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are starting a new chapter on 2D geometry.  Students will expolore translations, reflections, and rotations of various shapes.  We will also be working on an in class symmetry project.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.

Algebra

This week we are continuing our work with polynomials.  This week we will focus on subtracting, multipying, and factoring polynomials.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.
