Pre- Algebra

This week we are continuing with our first chapter on number systems.  This week we will be focusing on learning how to simplify non-perfect radicals, writing them in simipest radical form and solving squared and cube root equations.  There will be a quiz on the above mentioned topics on Wednesday, 9/21.  That will bring us to the end of our first unit.  Thursday, the students will recieve a review packet, which will guide their studing for the test on Friday, 9/23.  

Algebra

This week we are finishing up our first chapter on solving linear equations. Last week we covered 2-step equations, multi-step equations, and equations with variable on both sides of the equal sign.  This week we will focus on consecutive integer word programs and transforming literal equations.  At the end of the week, we will begin reviewing this chapter for the test on Monday, 9/26.
