Hello all! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week:
Spelling– The words for this week are: hot, top, not, lock, hop, rock. The challenge words are: saw, very, went, two. The children will write their spelling words 3x each for homework Monday night. There will be a Spelling test on Friday.
Phonics– Review of all sounds and letters, rhyming, and crossword puzzle.
Language Arts– Review pages for test. Test Tuesday 10/29 Please remember to study!!
Reading: We will read the story “The Bug Bath” on Tuesday. The children will bring home their Reading book that night to read the story again at home. The take home story this week is “Hot Pot”. The children should be able to read this story to you. There will be a Reading test on Friday.
Math-Building fluency with facts of 10. Review for test. Mid-Module Test on Friday 11/2! Please review quiz sent home last week and other homework to practice.
Religion– Read and discuss “Israel Crosses the Jordan”
Science– No Science this week.
Social Studies– Lesson 3 – Looking at Earth – Land & Water
Weekly Reader– “Pumpkins”

Encourage your child to READ every night to strengthen their skills.
