Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!
Spelling- The words for this week are: chin, chop, much, chip, rich, chick. The “R” book words are: been, brown, know, never, off, out, own, very. The children will write their words 3x each for homework by Tuesday. They should write 3 sentences by Wednesday. The test will be on Friday.
Phonics- ch and –tch words
Language Arts- possessives
Reading: We will read the story How Leopard got his Spots. The children will read it again at home. There will be Reading tests on Friday. There are 2 parts to the phonics test. The first part is ch and -tch words and the second part is possessives.
Math- test on chapter 5 on Wednesday
practice test on Tuesday
Science- parts of plants
Social Studies- communities

Our Star of the Week is Omarion!
Happy Birthday to AZRIEL!
We will be having a Christmas luncheon just for the children on Monday, 12/21. Please see the special notice that was sent home on Monday about the party. The class moms will be asking for volunteers to send in items.
Mr. DeVries sent home a letter about the Christmas musical which will be performed on Tuesday, 12/15 at 7pm. I am looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Send in your child’s pizza money by Thursday morning.
