Welcome back from Easter break. I hope all the families had a blessed Easter! Here’s a look at what we are doing this week:

PHONICS: We will be focusing on L and R blends, and Y as a vowel.
READING: We wll be reading fiction and nonfiction stories about the moon. The focus will be on reading or, er, ir, and ur words; adding -er to words; using adjectives in writing. The “R” book words are: another, climb, full, great, poor, through. The test will be on Friday.
SOCIAL STUDIES: Life Today and Long Ago
SCIENCE: The Moon
