Hello Parents,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break!
Reminders:
– Please remember to complete the daily attestations each morning prior to coming to school.
-Our class e-book showcase is almost complete. I hope you are enjoying learning about the children in the class.
BIG Idea: I can make a difference. Knowledge Focus: Children learn about the role of the community in their lives and the importance of good citizenship. Social-Emotional Focus: Responsibility. Vocabulary Theme Words: Earth, environment, protect, recycle, reduce, reuse and trash.
We will be learning the letter Ll and the #12.
We will be reading the books “Big Earth Little Me” and “The Cleanup Surprise.”
For Jesus time, we will be learning about David and Jonathan. This is the first week in Advent, please have your child “light” the purple candle in the Advent wreath they brought home last week. We are beginning to prepare ourselves for Christmas.

Physical Education: Thursday from 12:30-12:50
Critter Room: Every other Friday
This week we will be reading the “Wide Awake in Winter” Scholastic Weekly Reader.
I will be sending homework packets out on Monday which will be due on Friday.
