Month of October for MS Computers and Elementary Living Museum
8th Grade Computer: We are starting our Robotics Unit. Students will be building and coding customized robots to complete various challenges inline with the FIRST Lego League Competition.
7th Grade Computers: Will be starting a unit based on expanding their computer skills. We will be going into how to run a better web search, more in depth use on Google Docs and MS Office, and others.
6th Grade Computers: We will be diving into a 4 week cycle focusing on improving our typing skills.
5th Grade Computers: We will be continuing our classes on how to use our Chromebooks, getting accustomed to signing in, and how to use the Google Suite of Apps.
1st Grade Living Museum: We will be studying rocks. How they’re made, the different types, and also talking about fossils.
2nd Grade Living Museum: Will be learning about our Oceans. The types of creatures that live there, and how to help protect and preserve them.
3rd Grade Living Museum: We will be rolling up our sleeves and getting up close with the animals kept in the Critter Room. Students will learn how each ones specific needs are met, and the environments that each one comes from.
