Earth Science-8:

This week we will continue our study of “Describing the Earth.” Students will continue learning about the various spheres that make up the Earth. Homework will be given as worksheets over the course of the week. QUEST on this material  as well as evidence that the Earth is round will be given Tuesday October 14, 2014

QUESTs (Quiz/Test) : count for 2 quiz grades

Life Science-7- This week we will begin our week with a lab on Monday where we make Silly Putty. Tuesday we will continue with a mini lesson on lab safety. A review sheet will be given out on Tuesday which will done mostly in class over the week. A test will be given on Thursday October 9,2014. Extra help Wednesday and Thursday Morning. This test will cover all of the material covered so far in the course. It is strongly recommended that students study their review sheet. Successful completion of it will ensure success on the exam. 

 

Earth Science-6: This week we will wrap up our measurement conversions lessons and move on to using and learning how to read laboratory tools! 

Health-7: This week we will be working on a project concept map in which students will analyze their own health and the healthy decisions that they make. Lesson 3 is due for HW. 

Astronomy: We will have our first constellation naming contest this week!
