Science News: Clocks get set an hour ahead Sunday March 8th. Did you know that Daylight savings time was established so that farmers could get the maximum amount of daylight hours at different times of year? You should also notice that day light hours are increasing. On March 20, 2015, we will have exactly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night. That is the first day of Spring!

8th Grade Earth Science:  We will have a test on this on Monday  March 9, 2015. Tuesday we begin meteorology!

7th Grade Life Science: This week we finish microscopy. We will have a quest on microscopy on Friday which counts as two quiz grades.

6th Grade Earth Science: This week we will focus on the phases of the moon and work on phases of the moon lab. We will have a test on solar system and stellar astronomy on Tuesday March 10, 2015

7th Grade Health: This week we will continue our study of alcohol use and abuse.
