We had a great first week of school. We focused on getting to know each other and settling into our daily routine!
This week we will be focusing on the letter A and apples. We will be learning the parts of an apple, we will take a virtual field trip through an apple orchard, and we will be making applesauce. We will also be tasting red, yellow and green apples (if you don’t want your child tasting apples or applesauce, please email me or message me through class Dojo).
I will be reading How Do Apples Grow by Jill McDonald, The Apple Star Adventure by Chris Summerhayes, and Ten Apples Up On Top by Dr. Seuss. Our class will be going to the library on Wednesday this week. Each child will be able to borrow a book to take home. The book will be due back to school the following Wednesday.
