I am looking forward to meeting with parents this week. Please come to your scheduled conference time prepared with your child’s report card and any questions or concerns you may have. I try to adhere to the ten minute meeting schedule, however, as a parent, I do understand when discussing your pride and joy, ten minutes sometimes isn’t enough! Please be patient if you are waiting outside the classroom for the next conference.

Writing Journal Assignment: This week the students will be doing a writing assignment about gratitude in the classroom.

Social Studies: Dutch settlers in New York
Reading: Ongoing free reading in class, reading notebook, conferencing
Language Arts: Singular and plural possessive nouns
Religion: daily devotions

Important News:
- There is no school for students on Thursday, November 21st to allow for parent-teacher conferences. Please be sure to book a conference with me if you have not already done so.
- Next Tuesday, 11/26, is our annual school wide Thanksgiving Feast. Students should have sent in their choices for either chicken nuggets or turkey, accompanied by traditional holiday trimmings!
- Wednesday, 11/27, is a half day of school at Trinity.
