This week we are watching National Treasure and The Sign of the Beaver movie.
We will be writing in our journals and presenting our ‘television’ shows to the class.

Thank you for a wonderful year. Your children made each day a good one. They are smart, funny, and talented. I will continue to pray for all of them as they begin middle school in Sept. Thank you for your constant support and understanding.
I heard something this week on the radio:
It’s good to know your Bible. It’s even better to know it’s author.
It reminded me that quoting verses is great but I need to be continually working to strengthen my relationship with the Lord.
This takes time and can be difficult. Learning what’s in the Bible is one way to build my personal relationship with Christ. Prayer (praying to and listening to), instruction, guidance from authentic Christians, service to others…these are other ways to have a closeness with God. I hope this encourages you in some small way.
