READING – Our focus this week is the high frequency word “I”, rhyming words, reading with expression, classifying and categorizing family words, nouns, in reference to people, identifying letters Kk, Ll, Mm, Nn, Oo, reading stories Building With Dad, What Makes A Family? and My family Pictures and discussing the main ideas of each story and summarizing them.
MATH – Count, model and write five and review one, two, three, and four is our focus in Math this week.
RELIGION- We have completed the Creation story.
SCIENCE – We will be learning about apples.
SOCIAL STUDIES- We will read about Johnny Appleseed.
HANDWRITING- We are practicing tall and short vertical lines and long and short horizontal lines.
JOURNAL – We will write “I am a boy/girl” and draw a picture.
REMINDERS- Return all forms and party money please.
