READING- We will review recognition of capital and lower case letters Aa -Ee, learn to recognize words that rhyme, recognize names, distinguish between letters and numbers, blend syllables and learn the correct way to handle a book.

MATH- Our book begins with a Math story called  Fall Festival. Then your child will model and count 1,2,3, and 4 objects and write the numbers 1,2,3, and 4.

RELIGION- Our first Bible story is Creation.

SCIENCE– We will discuss the Fall season and compare it to summer.

SOCIAL STUDIES- Our topic is the importance of following rules and applying the topic to school and home rules.

HANDWRITING– We will concentrate on sitting properly, holding a pencil correctly, and practice writing vertical “pull down” lines on lined paper.

JOURNAL- We will write and draw a picture to tell how we get to school.

REMINDERS

Please have all supplies brought to school by the end of the week.
