READING- Our focus this week is letter recognition Ff-Jj, identification of rhyming words, reading environmental print, distinguishing between letters and numbers, recognizing first and last names and blending and segmenting syllables.
MATH- We will continue to explore numbers 1-5 through modeling, counting, writing, and reading the number words.
RELIGION- The Creation story is still our focus for this week.
SCIENCE- Fall changes are still being discussed.
SOCIAL STUDIES- Rules are our topic of discussion.
HANDWRITING- Top, medial/middle, and bottom lines, and basic handwriting strokes are being learned.
JOURNAL- The concepts of Left and Right are being taught.
