READING – We are completing Lesson 12 from last week. Refer to last week’s blog.
MATH- Our focus is separating numbers, subtraction. We will specifically learn how to write a subtraction sentence for given word problems.
RELIGION- Jesus calls his disciples to be fishers of men is this week’s story.
SCIENCE- We will be discussing polar animals and how they survive in cold weather.
SOCIAL STUDIES – Why do we celebrate Valentine’s Day is our topic for discussion.
HANDWRITING- We will practice “n” and review some numbers.
REMINDERS
Friday is RED Day. Your child should wear something red to school.
Don’t forget to bring a small treat for your 5th Grade buddy and Valentine cards for your classmates.
