Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!
Spelling- The new words for this week are: us, sun, but, fun, bus, run. The vocabulary (“R” book) words are: eat, put, give, small, one, take. The children should write their words 3X each by Wednesday and pick 3 words to write in sentences by Thursday. Test on Friday.
Phonics- short u; final blends; -ump
Language Arts- a, an, and the
Reading: We will read the story A Cupcake Party. The children will read it again at home. There will be Reading tests on Friday. The children need to know the order of events in the story.
Math- chapter 4- subtraction strategies
Religion- An angel visits Mary
Social Studies- How people change the land
Science- Test on Thursday- Review sheets were sent home last week

I hope all the families had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Now that December is here, there are many activities planned. Next Tuesday, the children will visit the “Santa Shop” where they can shop for inexpensive gifts for family members.
On Tuesday, December 13th, the children will perform in the Christmas Musical at 7 p.m. The children have been practicing hard and you will surely enjoy this production!
