Here’s a look at what we will be doing!
Spelling-There will be a test on lesson 9 words on Tuesday. We will be writing sentences for our spelling words in lesson 10 after Thanksgiving.
Phonics- short e, blends with s
Language Arts- singular and plural nouns
Reading: Our tests on lesson 9, “Dr. Seuss” will be given on Tuesday.
Math- Chapter 4-Subtraction strategies
Religion- Daily devotions and bible stories
Science- Habitats test on Thursday 11/ 1- study guides will be sent home
Social Studies- How people change land

Happy Birthday Zella!
On Tuesday, 11/22, we will have a school wide feast. Special desserts will be served in the classroom following the feast. Thank you to our class moms for all their help, and to those who are helping to serve!!

I would like to wish all of you a very happy, blessed Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for. I am very thankful for our wonderful first grade students!
