Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes!
Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!
Spelling- The new words for this week are: how, now, cow, owl, ouch, house, found, out, gown, town, family, myself, please, school. The children will write their spelling words 3x each for homework and write 8 sentences (or a story) due by Thursday. Spelling Test will be on Friday.
Phonics- ou, ow, oi, oy, au, aw words
Language Arts- contractions
Reading: We will read the story, The New Friend. The children will read the story again at home. There will be a Reading test on Friday.
Math- Chapter 12- Geometry
Science- Plants
Social Studies- Test Wednesday on Unit 4 (book 4); The book was sent home last week. Please review the yellow highlighted vocabulary words.
Weekly Reader- Wind
Religion- bible stories

Uniform shorts may be worn beginning last week.
I have extra “S” books if your child fills the pages of their current book.
Thank you to all who sent in $5 or items for our class Wingo basket. This is Trinity’s biggest fundraiser for the year.
