Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes!
Here’s a look at what we will be doing the week of 11/2/20.
Spelling-We are up to lesson 7, and the words are: in, will, did, sit, six, big. The vocabulary (“R” book) words that are on the test are: animal, of, how, make. The children will write their 10 words 3x each by Wednesday. There will be a Spelling test on lesson 7 Friday.
Phonics- words with short i; r blends; -ip words
Language Arts- commas in a series
Reading: We will read the story How Animals Communicate. The children will read it again at home. There will be a Reading test on Friday. We will be learning about using a glossary.
Math- addition strategies- Test next Thursday (11/10)
Religion- Daily devotions and Bible stories from religion book 2.
Social Studies- Unit 2:Geography
Weekly Reader- Voting

Book orders are due by Tuesday!
October morning work folders will be going home.
Ask your child if they are in need of any school supplies (pencils, glue, etc.) and send them in as soon as possible.
Please remember to check your child’s folder each night and remove the papers.
