Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes!

Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!

Spelling- The words for this week are: up, bug, mud, nut, hug, tub. The children will write their words 3x each for homework by Wednesday. The test will be on Thursday this week. I have been sending home the “S” book on Fridays, but the homework is not due until Wednesdays. Some children (or parents) might like to get the words done over the weekend when there is more free time!

Language Arts- adjectives; synonyms

Reading: The “R” book words are: friend, hold, full, many, good, pull. Please review all “R” book words with your child nightly. We have had 40 sight words so far that the children should be able to read.
We will read the story Gus takes the Train this week. The children will read it again at home. There will be a Reading test on Thursday instead of Friday.

Math- continue with subtraction
