Here’s a look at what we will be doing the week of 11/23. Happy Thanksgiving!
Spelling- We will begin lesson 10 this week, but I am stretching it out through next week because of the Thanksgiving break. The test for the lesson 10 words will be given on Friday, 12/4. The words are: us, bus, sun, but, run, fun, eat, put, give, small. The children do not have to hand in their “S” books until next Wednesday, 12/2. No spelling or reading homework this week.
Phonics- lesson 10: short u; final blends; -ump
Language Arts- a, an, and the
Reading: We will begin lesson 10 and read the story “A Cupcake Party”. The tests for lesson 10 will be given next Friday, 12/4.
Math- chapter 4- subtraction strategies test will be given this Tuesday. We will have a practice test on Monday.
Religion- The 12 Spies
Social Studies- weather, seasons
