Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes!
Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week before Christmas break. We will be doing many Christmas crafts/activities between lessons!
Spelling- The words for this week are: chin, chop, much, chip, rich, chick. The “R” book words included on the test are: know, never, out, very. The children will write their words 3x each for homework and write 3 sentences by Thursday. The test will be on Friday.
Phonics- ch and –tch words
Language Arts- possessives
Reading: We will read the story How Leopard got his Spots. The children will read it again at home. There will be a Reading test on Friday.
Math- Test on Chapter 4 on Wednesday
Practice test on Tuesday
1AA News
We will be having a Christmas party on Friday! The children will still bring lunch or order pizza for Friday. Please remember to drop off a wrapped book for your child for Santa to give to him/her.
Send in your child’s pizza money by Thursday morning.
I would like to wish all of our wonderful children and their families a very Blessed Christmas, as we celebrate our Savior’s birth. Enjoy the time with your families, and have a healthy, happy New Year! See you in 2022!
