Welcome Back and Happy New Year!!
To kick things off, all grades are front loading research to provide them with background information for the new novel we are reading.
6th grade will be reading The Watson’s Go To Birmingham, a novel about the Civil Rights movement.
The 7th grade will be reading Fever 1793, a novel taking place in 1793 Philidelphia during the Yellow Fever outbreak.
8th grade is reading the classic, The Outsiders.
6th grade is physically reading and writing their research in a station format while the other two grades are doing independent online research. Later this week we will discuss our background information and begin the books!
