We are reaching the midway point in our novels and getting to the good stuff! The students seem to be enjoying the books and we are working on sharpening our writing skills every chance we get. We introduced a new strategy called RACES (Restate, Answer, Cite, Explain, Sum up) which has really been helping improve our style and content.
This week we will be focusing on reading several more chapters and conflict analysis.
