Dear Parents,

We wish all our moms, grandmas, and aunts a very Happy Mother’s Day.

Thank you for joining us for Special Person’s Day. We enjoyed planting flowers, eating ice-cream, and sharing joyous moments with loved ones. Last week we learned about the parts of a plant, we got caterpillars to watch grow into butterflies, and we made our special Mother’s Day crafts. This week we will learn all about fruits – how they grow, and why fruits are an important part of our diet. Each day we will taste test a different fruit: Monday is pineapple, Tuesday is banana, Wednesday is watermelon, and Thursday is oranges. On Friday, we will make a delicious fruit smoothie with all our fruits.

This week we will learn the letter “Q” for Queen. The children will learn how to recognize, sound out, and trace the letter “Q”. Pastor will be leading chapel for us this week. For religion, we will learn about the First Pentecost.
