Happy 2nd week of March! I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather today and got outside to play a bit before the freezing weather comes back.
This week is all about transportation. We will be learning about things that help us move like our feet, animals, cars, trucks and bikes. I know this is a unit many of the kids will enjoy! We will also incorporate some STEM activities like building bridges and racing cars.
We will be reading A Ride For Duck, I Went Walking and Clip-Clop Horse. We will continue talking about the month of March and talk about how March comes in like a lion but ends like a lamb because spring is almost here. We will finish our Scholastic My Big Day reader titled Do You Hear The Weather.
We will be practicing for our Special Person’s Day which will be in the beginning of April. Details will follow shortly about this amazing event! For Jesus time we will talk about some miracles that Jesus did such as Jesus stops a storm and Jesus feeds 5,000. We will also be learning a new Jesus song called Love in a Box.
