Welcome to October! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year and we have a lot of fun things in store for us. As we strive to keep everyone safe, please remember to complete the daily attestations each morning prior to coming to school.
This week we talk about the fall season and go on a nature walk around our school to see the beautiful leaves that are starting to change color. We will sit outside for story time and enjoy the crisp air as we talk about the changing season. Our crafts this week will be coloring fall leaves to decorate our classroom door and making pumpkin suncatchers to decorate our windows. This week is also Fire Prevention Week so we will be talking about fire safety with different activities each day. We will read Five Little Pumpkins, Pete the Cat: Firefighter and Clifford the Firehouse Dog. For Jesus time, we will continue practicing “Jesus Loves Me” and “Jesus Loves the Little Children of the World”.
