I can’t believe we have two more weeks before winter break. We have so many fun things to do! As we strive to keep everyone safe, please remember to complete the daily attestations each morning prior to coming to school.
This Sunday is the second Sunday in Advent. This week we will talk about peace as we learn the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Savior Jesus. We will also continue practicing for our Christmas Program, which is on December 14th at 10am.
Our prayer for the second week of Advent will be:
God help us remember to be more like Jesus
as we prepare for his birth.
Amen.
Our Elf continues to hide and leave treats for us. The kids are very excited to find Munchkin each day. This week we will read Christmas in a Manager and God Gave us Christmas. The children will be very busy making special holiday crafts; especially some amazing surprises for mom and dad. Thursday is our birthday celebration for Baby Jesus. Please remember to send in your gift of a layette item for Baby Jesus.
