Dear Parents,
This was a great week learning all about rain forests and the Caribbean.
This week coming up we will learn how to recognize and sound out the letter Bb for beach. The children will make and explore kinetic sand and seashells. We will also learn about the different types of birds we see at the beach. We will also design a sponge boat using a sponge, a drinking straw, tape, and a paper swatch. The kids will be able to move the boat across a small body of water using air they blow from their mouth. The children will learn about Memorial Day and how we honor the men and women from the United States military.
For religious instruction we will learn how God cares for the birds.
