Dear Parents,
What a great week we had! It was so nice to see the children at the Long Island Aquarium. What a great trip it turned out to be and the weather was perfect!
This week the children will be learning how to recognize and sound out the letter Uu for umbrella. We will be discussing how April showers bring May flowers. We will sing songs about the rain and talk about the type of clothing we should wear in the rain. For Math Centers, the children will do raindrop counting where they count the number of raindrops and trace the numbers. For religious instruction we will explain how God makes the rain and Jesus quiets the storm.
