Dear Parents,

We hope you had a wonderful break and a very Happy Easter!  We missed the children and can’t wait to see them on Monday.

We will have a busy week getting back into the swing of things.  The children will learn how to recognize and sound out the letter Ee for Earth.  We will begin our unit on the life cycle of a ladybug and learn about other types of insects as well.  This week we will teach the children all about Earth Day and how important it is to keep the Earth clean.  We will discuss the importance of recycling and take a virtual field trip to a recycling plant.  We are going to show the children how we can be resourceful by making maracas out of recycled toilet paper rolls.  We are so excited for our trip to the aquarium on Friday!
