Dear Parents,
We had a great week introducing the month of March and learning all about lion and lamb weather. We also made some cute crafts in preparation for St. Patrick’s Day.
This week we will learn how to recognize, sound out and write the letter T for tornado. Since our monthly science unit is “weather,” this week we will make a tornado in a jar as our science experiment. We will learn all about tornadoes and what causes them. This week we will also learn about Dr. Seuss for Read Across America.
For math instruction, we will do a “One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish” counting activity during snack. We will hand out rainbow colored fish and have the children sort and count how many of each color they have.
