Dear Parents,
We had a great past week finishing up our science unit on pond life. We learned a lot about frogs and ducks and made some cute crafts for our class walls.
This week we are so excited to go on a trip to the Long Island Aquarium! We can’t wait to see the different types of marine life. We will also be learning about the letter U for Umbrella. The children will learn how to recognize, sound out, and trace the letter U. This week we will begin our science unit on insects. We will introduce insects by teaching the children about the life cycle of a ladybug.
For religious instruction, we will learn how Jesus teaches the disciples to pray.
IMPORTANT DATES AMD REMINDERS:
- March 31st – Trip to LI Aquarium (Please be there no later than 10:15)
- April 15th – ECC3 Easter Program (1:30pm – 2:45pm)
- April 17th through April 25th – NO SCHOOL for Easter Break
- April 18th – Good Friday
