Dear Parents,
We had a great week learning about the season of Spring. We made cute, Spring windsocks to celebrate the new season. We also enjoyed our St. Patrick’s Day party in class with our friends.
This coming week, we will learn about the letter Y for Yellow. The children will be able to recognize, sound out, and trace the letter Y. We will learn all about pond life this week. The children will learn about ducks, frogs, and their habitat. We will sing the song, “Five Green and Speckled Frogs,” and the kids will act it out. The children also enjoy singing “Five Little Ducklings.” We will read the book, “Wide-mouthed Frog” by Keith Faulkner and make our own wide-mouthed frog with a paper plate.
For religious instruction, the children will learn how Jesus feeds 5,000 people.
