Dear Parents,
This past week, the children had so much fun learning about the works of Dr. Seuss. The children enjoyed hearing the silly stories and learning about rhyming words.
This week the children will learn how to recognize, sound out, and write the letter U for umbrella. We will continue our unit on the weather by learning about rainstorms. For math instruction, the children will do a “count the raindrops” activity. The children will learn about the number ten.
For Jesus Time, the children will learn how Jesus teaches the disciples to pray. We will also teach the children about the significance of St. Patrick’s Day and have our party on Friday.
Reminders:
- March 15th – Green Day! Don’t forget to wear green. We will be having a St. Patrick’s Day celebration in our classroom.
- March 20th – ECC3 Easter Program
- March 28th through April 5th = Easter Recess
- Please don’t forget to empty your child’s folder each day.
- Please don’t forget to turn in your child’s library book. Many books are overdue. Thank you.
