Dear Parents,

We had a great past week making fun crafts and getting ready for our Christmas show.  The children made a fun Santa Advent calendar to keep track of how many days there are until Christmas/the birth of Jesus.  We also learned about Advent in Chapel, which means the “coming” of Jesus.  It was so nice to see a few of our kids at Santa’s breakfast this past Saturday.  We had a wonderful breakfast, took pictures with Santa, and played some fun games and won prizes.

This week, we will be doing a Scholastic Weekly Reader on how Hedgehogs hibernate.  We will also learn about the cold weather and the types of clothes we wear.  We will continue making crafts for Christmas, as well as learning songs for our Christmas Show.  The children sound great and are so excited for you to see them perform! We will get back to learning letters after the New Year.

For religious instruction this week, the children will learn how “A Star Leads The Way.”
