Dear Parents,

We had a busy week learning about owls, the color brown and the shape of a rectangle.  The children made some cute crafts, including a brown, rectangular owl, and acorns, which we hung up in our classroom.  We started our alphabet book this week with the letter Aa for Apple.  The children had so much fun making their rainbow colored toast!

Next week we will learn about the letter Bb and continue working on our fine motor skills with a Bb tracing page.  The children will learn all about bats, and we will read the book, Stella Luna by Janell Cannon.  We will also learn about the color blue and the shape of a crescent.
