Dear Parents,
It was so nice meeting with you all during the parent/teacher conferences to discuss our shining stars! This past week, we learned about the Narwhal and how it survives in its habitat. The children made a cute Narwhal craft that they will bring home at the end of our science unit on Arctic Animals.
This week we will learn how to sound out and write the letter O for orca and owl. We will continue our science unit on Arctic Animals by learning about snowy owls and how they survive in their habitat. The children will continue tracing and coloring pages, and also make a snowy owl craft. For math instruction this week, the children will practice recognizing and writing the number 4, and do an “Owl Count and Dab” by tracing the numbers and then dabbing the owls to match the number.
For religious instruction, we will teach the children how “Jesus learns about God.”
Reminders:
- Please make sure to send your child’s library book back to school on Mondays.
- Don’t forget to label your child’s belongings.
- Please empty your child’s folder each night.
Have a Blessed Day!
