Happy November! I am so excited to welcome in the month of November with the kids. The next two months are one of my favorite times of the year! As we strive to keep everyone safe, please remember to complete the daily attestations each morning prior to coming to school.
The theme for this week is “What Goes Crunch” as we explore autumn leaves – their colors and their sounds. Our My Big World reader this week is My Autumn Nature Walk. Our conversations this week will be all about leaves. We will read Leaf Man and go on a walk to collect things from nature for our fall sensory bin. We will collect leaves, bark, sticks, acorns, etc. to fill up our sensory bins for some hands-on fun. Additionally, we will start to work on our fall crafts and crafts for our Thanksgiving celebration.
We will start talking about creation for Jesus time and will continue doing so for the next two weeks. I will introduce a new prayer for snack time (Thank you for the world so sweet) and a new song (Thank You Lord For Making Me). We will also begin learning songs for our Christmas Program.
