I can’t believe we have two more weeks before winter break. We have so many fun things to do! As we strive to keep everyone safe, please remember to complete the daily attestations each morning prior to coming to school.
This Sunday is the second Sunday in Advent. This week we will talk about peace as we learn the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Savior Jesus. We will also continue practicing for our Christmas Program, which is on December 10th at 11am.
Our prayer for the second week of Advent will be:
God help us remember to be more like Jesus
as we prepare for his birth.
Amen.
Our Elf continues to hide and leave treats for us. The kids are very excited to find Munchkin each day. This week we will read It’s Christmas David, Santa Duck, and Pete the Cat’s 12 Days of Christmas. The children will be very busy making special holiday crafts; especially some amazing surprises for mom and dad. Our Scholastic Reader this week will be about Holiday Makers, as we talk about all the beauty of the holidays.
