Last week, we enjoyed learning about water and exploring it’s properties. This week, we will explore letter Bb. B is for birds, beach and boats! We will enjoy a variety of books, crafts and activities exploring these themes. We will learn about proper beach attire, the many different types of seabirds and what they need to survive, different types of boats and their uses, plus we will design our own sailboats as we participate in the STEM challenge – “Design the fastest sailboat that floats.” We will test out our sailboat designs to see which ones float and which ones sail the fastest. The fastest floating sailboat wins a prize! Our religion lesson this week is “God Made The Birds” from Faith Alive. It should be a short, fun filled week to kick off Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial start of the summer 2023 season!
